Downloading music question

I recently decided to download some music from iTunes and during this process it installed Quick Time player (which I didnt really want) so when completed I thought I would transfer the music to Windows Media Player where all my music is stored. However, there appears to be no way of doing this which is really irritating:mad: So Ive given up with iTunes and am seeking to download music from another website. I looked at Wippit but they dont appear to support Vista. As you can probably tell, I'm totally useless at all this. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction please......

Hi, Quicktime is part of the Itunes package.

The downloaded Itunes music is DRM protected as well so won't play in WMP unless you purchased itunes Plus music.

Another option, have you considered using Itunes as your main Player? You can import your WMP stuff across to it?
  • Thanks Millionaire - I really would prefer to use WMP if I can but I can see that I will probably end up using Itunes instead. cheers.

Have you tried burning a music CD from iTunes and then importing the songs from that into WMP?

This will work, but re-encoding the music a second time will significantly reduce the sound quality.
