if i had a puncture on a motorway, where the tyre was completely deflated, I would carry on driving at 40mph/30mph whatever speed is safe and get to an exit. even if it means the alloys are busted. You can always buy new alloys - but you can;t bring someone back from the dead.this is coming from someone who has a spare so i can afford to completely destroy the rim. if you have no spare and that's the only rim YMMV. but i think recovery vehicles will provide you with a spare wheel wouldn't they?0

I'm sure the police would have something to say about that. Never mind the damage to the road surface.seatbeltnoob said:if i had a puncture on a motorway, where the tyre was completely deflated, I would carry on driving at 40mph/30mph whatever speed is safe and get to an exit. even if it means the alloys are busted. Life in the slow lane0 -
Driving on your rims at any speed is unsafe not just to you but other road users that will encounter you in a live lane when they're doing the NSL.seatbeltnoob said:if i had a puncture on a motorway, where the tyre was completely deflated, I would carry on driving at 40mph/30mph whatever speed is safe and get to an exit. even if it means the alloys are busted. This an actual FB post by a local....at 6pm tonight"Don’t ever get Ford assistance with any new car you buy Ford UK are rubbish!!
We bought our car three weeks ago with 12 months Ford assistance.we have just spent since 6:30pm last night two adults, three dogs and a young child of just over one year old stranded in the middle of nowhere next to our car. The The AA UK who are the ford assist breakdown have just left us here. We’re too far away for a hire car apparently and there’s none available. We can’t get a taxi cos they can’t guarantee the taxi would take the dogs in it and we can’t bring personal belongings in it. They’ve now said someone has to drive to us to pick us up and they’ll give us £50 cheque and the car will eventually get picked up 72 hours from now. What a disgusting and vile service. We are absolutely infruriated that we’ve had no help, no priority and we are still here stranded! Such a jokeWhat do you have to say for yourselves Ford and AA."0 -
Is someone truly claiming that they broke down and called the breakdown service 18:30 hours 14th August and still there waiting with no-one having attended at all still at 18:00 hours 15th August?maxmycardagain said:This an actual FB post by a local....at 6pm tonight"Don’t ever get Ford assistance with any new car you buy Ford UK are rubbish!!

I suspect some inconsistencies and exaggeration.
Apart from anything else, in that scenario, most people would at some point have made the car safe and then simply arranged their own taxi or whatever and then argued the case subsequently.1 -
They have had no food or water for 24 hours?0
