Getting rid of plastic taste from fridge water dispenser

Had a gander on Google & I'm getting results for what I think is them office blue barrel dispensers. It's telling me to remove parts that I don't think my fridge has.
Fridge is just one of them Beko ones with a simple plastic container on the inside of the door, a lever on the outside you push your glass against & water comes out
So yeah, pretty much filling it with water but NOT having thr water taste disgusting & plastic like...?

Whilst Im not 100% sure on a fridge water tank, things like the tank on my coffee machine needed a bloody good wash with hot soapy water and hot rinse and air dried, before that taste went
Perhaps, if you have washed and air dried, try filling with fresh water and a dash of lemon juice, let it sit 24hrs and then run out?0 -
Depending on what kind of coffee machine you're talking about, I forget how the guide told me I had to do mine. I think it was make about 3 cups of coffee & throw the contents away. Don't much fancy putting coffee in my water dispenser though
Have tried putting water in, emptying, re-filling etc.Have tried giving it a wash too.Haven't tried the lemon juice tbf though.0
