Change of Address and Applying for Credit

Hello
So I currently been pre approved via soft check for finance for some furniture.
I am completing on my flat purchase Monday and my funds were released today.
However as most places require the billing address to be same as delivery it means I need to update all my bank and credit card addresses to my new address.
Would this cause me any issues applying for credit now if I dont have history at new address?

If you used your current address for the soft check and got approved - you wouldn't receive your card in time before you left the address. If you use the new address do you get the same result? Usually you have to get yourself on the electoral roll at your new property, and get your existing financial accounts updated so that the CRA's know where you are before you usually get approved for further credit. Or are you saying that although you have a new flat - you'll be staying wherever you are for a while longer?0

Ah got you - thought it was a credit card. Do you have an available guarantor? Does it also need to be brand new furniture on finance as soon as you move? (Not judging - just throwing it into the mix - as you might have a few unexpected costs in the first few months - and the finance might be a bit of a deadweight. Have you checked out your local British Heart Foundation stores? they usually have a good selection of furniture for a fraction of the price of over-inflated places like DFS)

Sofa I want is around £600 so not too over the top hahadid have some savings set aside for sofa bed and mattress but half of it was lost as due to rising interest decided to switch to 5 year fixed deal and had to cough up £1350 for fee plus valuation which was free on the 2 year fix!0
