Hi! I am looking for a home and contents insurance plus legal assistance. Would you guys please recommend me a  good company? There is too many and I dont have a clue what the difference is  between them.  I dont have access to Which website with  ranking unfortunately. At the moment  I am looking at Admiral platinum, esure, urban jungle? Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Home is a moderately complicated product and so what's good for one household isn't necessarily good for the next until you get into the High Net Worth type policies from Hiscox etc

Claims experience is probably the most important thing with insurance.
I've never heard of Urban Jungle and I can't find any reviews of their claims experience on Google.
Esure I've heard of and I don't much like what I've heard.
Admiral I've used for car insurance and they were OK. They are quite well known and probably no worse than any other home insurer.
There are some claims experience rankings at https://www.claimscore.co.uk/group-search. Like all these internet ranking sites, take with a bucket of salt, but I don't know of any better source of information.

Hi, my home insurance is with Aviva. I've just made a claim for a broken TV, am about to receive the full amount I paid for the replacement and there was no excess to pay.

The whole process from my original claim to their acceptance took one week. And in between I submitted further information as requested by them.

I was able to communicate with them by text and email and they've advised today that payment should be in my bank by Friday.

Quick, efficient and problem-free. I would highly recommend from personal experience as I couldn't be happier.

    Not 100%, but a start;-

Make sure you compare the right product as providers often have a top-level version and a cut-down alternative at a lower cost.

Trace & access cover is a must-have, for me;-
