Hi,
I own a property which had a loft dormer extension in 2013. We bought it with no building Reg certificate but knew it had been registered and planned to get it regulated. I’ve just found it on the LA portal and it looks like this has already been done (as states accepted?). Any idea what the codes afterwards mean?

That looks like a Planning Consent which is entirely separate from Building Regulations.

Hmmm my council has a separate portal for planning (in house) whereas building control is with an external company. Can’t find anything on planning portal for this address and the ref number is a different format. Could it be an application for building notice?MFW 2021 #76 £5,145

I can't say this is what that organisation use them for, but from past experience -BN = Building NoticeIN = Initial NoticeRG = ReGularisationREV = REVersionPRL is a blank at the moment.2

Thanks section62. I think I need to bite the bullet and phone them. I hope regularisation showing means that things are done but then reversion doesn’t sound good!MFW 2021 #76 £5,145

Ah am I right that reversion means it’s gone back to local authority rather than needing to revert back to how things were!MFW 2021 #76 £5,145
