How to secure apps on Samsung smartphone

I recently downloaded Banking Apps to my Samsung Smart Phone (Galaxy A22 5G). For extra security I wish to add an extra layer of security by adding a suitable App Lock. Samsung's own version Secure Folders / S Secure are not available on my model and are not available for download from the Samsung Store. I see many of you posting about App only Banks and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good App Lock. There seems to be a large number available on the Samsung Store and Google Play Store I don't know how to choose. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to unlock the phone to get into it at all. The banking app will also then need unlocking. I don't think you need to do anything further. 
I'm an iPhone user so there is no option to do an "app lock" but I also would not trust a third party app.
Trust that Samsung have secured your phone and your bank have secured your log in.
Make sure you know how to report the phone lost and do remote wipe if needed.

Make sure you have a different PIN set for unlocking your phone to the one you use for banking apps

Yes, I would also recommend setting up "Find My Mobile" in the settings and you can also go to https://findmymobile.samsung.com to set it up and control your phone in the event that it gets lost.
