I bought this https://www.screwfix.com/p/manrose-flap-vent-brown-125-x-125mm/94320
But its the exact same diameter as the pipe I'm trying to connect, do I need some sort of adapter?

Normally you would have a plate that mounts on the inside of the wall that lines up with that vented plate & then a length of corrugated (aluminium?) hose between the 2 through the wall. That internal plate then has a slightly smaller diameter spigot flange that the indoor pipe will then fit onto.
I've got a feeling that just doing with an adaptor & the external vent plate would be a breech of the building regs. At the very least it will look awful & be difficult to attach the internal pipe0 -
It's only though a back door of a shop so I don't think building regs come into it.
Starting to think this hose is non-standard.4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0 -
