Paying into child's ISA when they have turned 18

Options
My son has had a Junior ISA with Hargreaves Lansdown for several years and I have paid a sum into this each month via direct debit. He recently turned 18 and the JISA has been converted to an adult ISA. As a result, H-L have advise that my direct debit will be cancelled as only my son can pay into his ISA now he is 18.

I would like to continue paying into his ISA but it seems this isn't possible by direct debit with H-L. Is this standard or are there ISA providers who allow direct debits to be set up from another account other than the holder?
