National Express - best time to buy

Hello,does anyone know if there’s a best time to buy coach tickets like there is with trains, to get the cheapest price? Thanks!

I haven't noticed any set time, just the price has remained stable throughout.

The last time I've used National Express, I asked someone to book me a ticket on a specific bus same-day, subject to my flight leaving on time (I'd already sent the money to that person) or a later one, and the price is no higher than I'd paid over the past few years.

This was an airport-airport route though, and there may be changes on other routes depending on the time/date.
