Is there a interest free card which allows me to pay tradesmen straight to their account?

I recently applied and received a Purchase Credit Card from Santander ( interest free for 23 months) as i am repairing a renovating my house and i thought i could get the work done then pay the tradesmen directly to their bank AND also use the card for large purchases such as Fridges and Cookers etc
Unfortunately, it seems the card cannot be used this way (paying tradesman direct to his account) Does such an interest free credit card exist with any other lender please
Thanks

You could use the card you have to buy the building materials assuming this is agreeable with the tradespeople. Then it would simply be their labour that you would need to pay for in another way. They might add a fee for pick up of materials to cover whatever mark up they might normally put on a quote.
What you need to find is a card that has interest free money transfers. I have cards that offer this occasionally so that I can use the card, paying a fee of 3.5% or something and make a payment directly to a bank account. Santander has done this in the past as well as MBNA very frequently (in fact almost always....)
Whether you can get a limit high enough to cover everything is a different issue.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. If they don't accept cards, then a money transfer card would be your best bet, but factor in the fee. You may need a separate card for the purchases.1

The tradesmen will be happy to receive the payment straight to their account but using the santander banking app there is no facility to pay them using the purchase credit card like there is with my 123 account0

If they don't accept credit cards, you can't pay them by credit card. A credit card is not the same as a bank account, hence you needing to look at a money transfer card.1

A money transfer card would allow you to transfer funds to your bank (or in theory theirs) but be aware its not a "purchase" and so wouldn't come with any protections. It would be more sensible to transfer the funds to your own account and then transfer it over to the individual trades accounts.
I would assume that many will require the transfer to be done in the first month of having the card to be eligible for the promotional rate and hence reinforcing doing the one transfer to yourself and then divid and pay off from your current account.1 -
Thank you all i will investigate a money transfer card0
