Electric heating. What to look for?

I am getting ready for a move to Scotland; likely Glasgow or Stirling areas, and have found that most flats, and many houses, have electric heating. Does anyone have any advice on what I should look for, and/or avoid particularly? Thank you.

If electric heating is all there is you want overnight storage heaters and economy 7 setup.
If someone says they have these efficient wall heaters that you use when you need heat run for the hills(it's Scotland it won't be too much of a hike)
The exception is a flat with an air source heat pump(rate). Come October heat pumps will become comparable if not cheaper than gas due to the ratio of gas to electric price reducing.1 -
Be aware that Economy 7 is usually referred to as 'white meter' in Scotland.2

Most places with electric heating will always be rated D or worse.
The flat I'm getting is electric, but the EPC report says the roof and wall have "very good" insulation and I have flats to the side and below me. I'm hoping that will help keep the flat warmer in winter.2 -
A very well insulated property which requires a minimal amount of electric heating.3
