Sony Walkman MP3 player charging

I'll be making a long bus journey and have dug out my old Sony Walkman MP3 player. I've tested the USB charging cable connecting to my computer and it works well.
The bus will have USB charging sockets on the seats, so will it be Ok to plug the Sony into this to charge?
Also while I'm away will it be possible to charge by plugging in to a standard electrical socket using the USB cable through a charger plug?

Thanks. I didn't want to plug in the Walkman on the bus and 'blow' something on the bus wifi charging system.0
