Paying off Balance Transfer

The interest free period on my balance transfer expires on 3rd Aug. The payment date on my current statement is 27 July when my regular min payment DD will go out.
I confused about whether I need to pay the lot by 3rd Aug to avoid interest or can I wait until the payment date on the next statement (about 27 Aug).
I've no problem with paying it off, but was wondering about the best timing.
The card is Santander.
