Hi despite their good trust pilot score I cant find any positive reviews of claiming on home insurance.
Only negative reviews of non payment claims, extremely low offers thereby making it impossible to get things put right. Even seen they have cancelled policies if people persit to pursue expensive claims.
Surely they should be operating under some kind of governing body that ensure they don't can't scam people.
How can you make sure they give you what you have been paying for?

hi, I am going through a similar experience with them at the moment which is just insane. I can’t even get my claims handler to contact me and it’s been two months, I’m at the end of my tether.
I will look through all your responses to see if I can get some help as this is just so stressful.0 -
I can’t figure out how to see all your response? Can anyone assist please?0

Policy Expert themselves are an intermediary and so are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They tend to operate as a coverholder and change their capacity provider fairly regularly - at present its a Maltese insurer.
If you have any issues then you should follow the complaints process in the policy booklet, if you arent happy with their response (or they dont respond within 8 weeks) then you can take the matter to the Financial Ombudsman (who deal with consumer issues on behalf of the FCA)0 -
Many thanks for this as it’s so hard to see the wood from the trees when dealing with the company.I will take forward your advice but rest assured that I will not be buying a policy with them ever again.1
