Cluster Flies in ventilation system :-(

Hi,

There are a few threads on here on cluster flies but was after some advice.  I live in a 7 year old house and at the weekend a large number of cluster flies appeared in my downstairs bathroom and upstairs on-suite.  I live in a slightly rural area and I believe they are a common problem in these areas.  I have tracked down the source and they are coming down the ventilation system.  When I had cluster flies in my previous house (old terrace) I paid a pest controller to resolve it and he used ULV fogging to resolve the issue.  That was an old house though but if they are in the ventilation system I am not sure that will work here. I have spent alot of time in my loft and can't see any evidence of the flies.  I think they may just be coming directly in through the vent at the top and then into the ventilation system.

Does anyone have any advice over whether ULV fogging would work here?  The price of ULV fogging is quite high and I don't really want to spend the money if it won't make any difference.

Any help on this would be appreciated
