Would be grateful of any help please,
I have recently received a Money Claim letter from the county Court
The Wording as follows
The defendant is indebted to the claimant for parking charges issued to vehicle #### address, The PCN was issued on private land owned or manged by c, the vehicle was in breach of terms on cs signs (the contract), Thus incurring the pcn, 4 Driver agreed to pay within 28 days but did not, despite request the PCN is outstanding, The contract entitles C to damages and the CLAIMANT COSTS £340 Being the total of the PCN and damages, 2 The interest rate at 8%
The back story is,
I am a paying tenant at the property where I received the parking fines, I had informed the manging agent I needed a replacement permit but this was not received until after the PCN have been issued
Seems very unfair that as a resident i have been charged
Would appreciate any help

Which site please - in Sussex? We know them and and myself and @ParkingMad are the OPS fighting 'Brighton ladies'.
Surely the particulars gives dates of more than one PCN? How many and what dates?
Does it give the location in the POC as well?
What is the issue date of the claim?
Surely you didn't ignore everything about these two PCNs, so what's the background - you appealed?
Appealed to POPLA?Complained to the managing agent?
BHCC site or private rental?
You just need to read the NEWBIES thread then the template defence thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK so do the AOS as the pictorial guide in the NEWBIES thread tells you. No point delaying that because it buys you a couple of weeks more to do your defence. With a Claim Issue Date of 1st July, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service now, you have until 4pm on 3rd August to file your Defence.
Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To find our Template Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try to 'Start Defence' via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Leave that alone! Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'. Defence and the subsequent N180 form (see NEWBIES thread) is done by email.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
