Mist coat in bathroom

We're having a lot of work done on our house, including a new bathroom. What sort of paint should we be using as the mist coat to seal the plaster? In our previous house we used ordinary emulsion on the ceiling which you could see getting soggy when it was steamy. Don't want to make the same mistake again so plan on using Zinnser Mould resistant paint as the top coat for the ceiling, and some shade of Dulux Bathroom paint for the walls, but not sure what to seal the new plaster with.

Is Mould resistant paint the same as water resistant paint, Im not sure they are. I'm sure normal paint will do and then Bathroom paint for the top coat.

We've just had ours done and used a mist coat of emulsion and used dulux bathroom ceiling paint and not had a problem. And for the walls again a mist coat if emulsion and valspar bathroom and kitchen paint.

Mist coat of diluted emulsion (or ‘bare plaster paint’), then kitchen/bathroom paint.
