Probate help IHT identifier?

Hi there,

Filling in probate forms and it asks for an IHT identifier. I've filled in the IHT form to estimate value and it's an excepted estate but can't find any further form for excepted estates and there is no reference...

Does anyone know what I should put in the IHT identifier or what form I should be filling in to get one?

Are you doing this online or via the paper form?

You only complete that bit if you filled in form IHT205.

So you went through the online estate valuation and it came back as an excepted estate with no IHT to pay? If that is the case then the probate form should not be asking for an IHT identifier. Sounds like you've incorrectly filled something in that your shouldn't have.

Might be worth starting over.
