Still on Flexible Avro with Octopus. Is there anything worth switching too?

You might've spotted a few people (myself included) pointing out the Green Energy UK "Sparkling" tariff:Or, if you're feeling lucky, there are Agile and Tracker from Octopus. I was about to move to Loyal Octopus 12M Fixed only to find that they just increased the tariff.

If you have a smart meter Agile is best for you right now 21p standing charge and a max price of 35p kWh for electricity ( however some say Agile V2 is incoming so don't hang about if you fancy that tariff as listed in the links above)
Tracker v3 is capped at 11p kWh which is good considering the 14-15p expected from October 1st. Again act fast if this appeals to you before tracker v4 is released.
Personally if I were with Octopus it would be Agile for elec and Tracker for gas and I suspect many Octopi would concur given the other options available to stay with them.0 -
Presumably, whilst the Tracker 3 gas/electric tariff is capped, the SC isn't?
And if the price is updated daily how is what you spend tracked without a smart meter?0 -
The standing charge is fixed in the same way the unit price is capped - Octopus reserve the right to change it with 30 days notice, but (to date) haven't seemed inclined to do so.westv said:Presumably, whilst the Tracker 3 gas/electric tariff is capped, the SC isn't?

The longer you wait the less will be available.
Currently there is only direction for prices and that is upwards.0 -
You have been given information by quite a few people on your options so
What update were you looking for?
Have you researched any of those given and have any questions?0
