Energy saving section to the site
Having the name MoneySavingExpert as a title, I find it hard to understand why there isn't a specific section on here advising how to save on energy costs. Maybe there is and I simply can't find it, in which case my apologies.
I guess we all should be looking to save on energy, not just to save money but caring for the environmental side of it too. I'm surprised there aren't tips or advice on best practices to save when the washing machine is running, do we need to set it at 60, 40 or will even 30 do? Other things like showers v baths, even simple ones like only filling the kettle up with as much water as you need, not filling to the top every time.
If there's not a specific section and with costs only set to go one way, maybe it's worth thinking about.

More than enough threads running already on the subject of saving energy. There doesn't really seem to be much point in having yet another section for those posts...In a nutshell, the "how to save" can be broken down in to two parts. Insulate, insulate, and insulate even more. Turn stuff off when you are not using it, and turn the thermostat down to ~18°C. Not really that difficult.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
