before all these price increase I used to top up £40 and it would last me roughly nearly two months (live alone tiny studio flat) now those £40 last me about 20 days , is that about right? how much will it be after the next increase ? it's way too much

You will of course get £400 in energy vouchers to add to your meter to help out with the costs.0 -

You need to contact the supplier and get an account set up in your name. Why didn’t you do this when you moved in? You could have been paying someone else’s debt.2

As far as I am aware they would arrive at the property address but in the previous tenants name.
Definitely change it into your name ASAP but they should still arrive.2 -
Try turning everything you leave in standby off at the socket, the exceptions being the fridge, freezer and router. Doing this could save you around £5 per week if you turn everything off that's not in use and there are loads of appliances you usually left in standby mode, especially if they are older appliances that are now rated more power hungry than the latest tech.Someone please tell me what money is1

This is more like a daily mail energy saving segment headline piece so take with a pinch of salt.
However yes turning things off will save 2-5kW a week and that's being generous for the majority so 59p-£1.401 -
