Travelling from Guildford to London

Options
Hi, I’m hoping someone can help, I’ve tried Googling but my brain is fried. 17 year old daughter is going into London tomorrow, we’re staying near Guildford, would she be better paying for one ticket from here to Waterloo or would she be better getting a ticket from here to Epsom and then using her contactless app.?. If it’s the later does she need to get off at Epsom and click in on Oyster?

I survived the M8 snowjam 6/12/10 - 17 hrs to get home :snow_grin

Simplest to just do the one train direct to Waterloo

Unless your daughter has lots of money on her Oyster card, I would do the above.  The Epsom line is the slowest and stops everywhere.  It could easily take 1.5 hours (or more!) to get to Waterloo that way.

Check for track works before she travels as there have been quite a lot lately.
