Hi all i need some advice my lovely mum died 18 months ago and probate has been granted  all stocks shares etc have been transferred to me it was a simple will with just me as beneficiary and myself and one other executor who used to be a solicitor and family friend of my parents . The only thing left to do is transferring the house to my name i left this in the hands of the other executor as he has more knowledge than I fast forward 2 months and i have had no contact nor can i reach him on the phone  or by email or text  can i just go ahead and change the property ownership on my own or will i need his signature to do this ? Thanks in advance

If you are both named on the grant of probate I think you both need to sign form AS1, but hopefully the LR rep on here will be able to confirm and provide guidance on what to do if one of the personal representatives goes AWOL.

Have you googled their name? You might find a death notice ...

Assuming property is still in mum's name & nothing untoward has already been undertaken, I'd stick the address on the LR 'Property Alert' register while you sort out what AWOL executor is doing &/or the best way forward.
