Thanks for the prod @slinger2slinger2 said:
Charter seem to be one of those providers that use the "issue" system to maintain a multitude of different rates for exactly the same product. I see they're currently offering 4.96% (issue 68) on this product.mebu60 said:
Charter 95 Day Issue 63 reduces from 5.0% to 4.7% on 03:03:25 (if that's not already been mentioned).slinger2 said:Just received an email from DF Capital that they're reducing the interest rate on their existing 90 day account from 5.30% AER to 5.11% AER as from 23 February 2025 (roughly the 104 days notice expected)
As I write they're offering the 5.11% account for new customers. Presumably the rate has been selected to just pip the 5.10% from Vanquis. Investec will be down to 5.05% for existing customers in the new year.
Likely 5.11% will be about the best notice account next February.0 -
And 5.06% on 60 Day Issue 33! Which I've now opened. Will divert £5k from Skipton BRT moving to Principality TA 4.7% from 5/12 to meet minimum deposit requirement then work out when to give notice on Charter 95 Day Issue 63. Anyone already counted back from 03:03:25? I will be a smidge over FSCS for the duration.slinger2 said:

Investec 90 day now 4.84% AER for new customers.
I'm getting 5.25% at the moment, reducing to 5.05% on 7 Jan 2025. No notification yet of a further reduction, but can only be a matter of time, I suppose.
Plenty of better rates available, eg DF Capital and Vanquis.
I think you can go below £5k on the Investec account, you just don't get any interest.3 -
I am on 5.13% with them but also expecting an imminent reduction.slinger2 said:Investec 90 day now 4.84% AER for new customers.

Amendment, just checked an old email, as you indicated the 5.13% interest rate locked until 6 January 2025, thereafter moves down to 4.94% - I am on monthly interest payout hence slight difference in our respective ratesposeidon1 said:

Me too. I've already put in a request to reduce to £1, thinking I should be able to do better than that next Feb. Of course, with rates falling there's no guarantee of that.BreakingGlass said:

Vanquis 90-day account down from 5.10% AER to 5.0% for new customers. Their other notice accounts rates may have changed too, not sure.
