Can anyone advise where I can buy this very cheaply. It is not in our computer home pack and my daughter needs it for media studies As. Can I get a student version or anyone any tips? Would like to put it on laptop and main computer. Thanks.

As she is a student, she is eligable for the Microsoft offer "The Ultimate Steal": http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/product.asp
So she can own Office Ultimate 2007 for £39 which includes all the applications, including Publisher.
It's an unfortunate title for the offer, but it is true and legal, students only, she must have a .ac.uk e-mail address or be able to prove her student identity.
More info from the MS site at: http://www.microsoft.com/education/ultimatesteal.mspx0 -
Hi there
You can also get a full legitimate Microsoft cd full of Microsoft Office 2007 for £53 at www.software4students.co.uk This applies to school children as well as university students and does NOT require a .ac.uk email address.0 -

Why bother with MS Publisher? it's a notoriously bad piece of software.
There are plenty Open Source alternatives out there which are totally free;- Open Office: Complete office suite
- Scribus: Desk Top Publishing
