Do I switch to standard tarriff or fix again for a year (for dunces)

Good evening

I am unsure what to do here - what are other British Gas customers doing? Or any general advice please

I have read all the MSE info but my head is spinning and I cannot get my head around it all, at all - our current plan ends in july (£1063 annually)

Current fixed plan ends in July (have been paying £1063 per year) - and we have been given the below options:-

either fix again or go on the standard tarriff?

Guys what are you all planning on doing? are you going on standard tarriff, or fixing again

It says it's £677.44 more than the default tarrif. The default tarrif in October is going to be near £3000 certainly by January imho. I have fixed on very similar rates to the fix you are being offered. I would fix if it was me asking the question. 👍

I think that I would probably take it if I was offered it.

Blimey its a bit of a moot point now, as i have clicked on it to sign up, and they have closed the offer - very strange, they only sent me the email two days ago.  I didnt know they could just pull the offer that quickly

2 days seems to be a lot in the current market.

If you seriously consider a fixed tariff you should sign on, and than start to looking at it in detail (assuming they have a cool off period)
