HELP !!! dripping combi shower

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
i have a dripping combi shower that is driving me up the wall :mad: ,it stops when i run the hot water . any suggestions ? all help gratefully recieved .

    Is this one of those showers were you can run a bath then pull a lever on the taps and it then comes out the shower?

    no ,normal bath taps ,the shower is at the other end of the bath piped into the combi boiler on the otherside of the wall.

    Does it have a name? Apart from b*****d when it drips.
    If you want to stop the drips and don't know the make then the only way to identify it is to post a picture.Someone then might be able to help.

    Sounds like some grit is stuck in the valve, can't help beyond that.
