uPVC Bi-fold Window

I’ve had the below quote for a uPVC bi-fold window supply only measuring 1790mm x 1340mm:

3 door - £2032 + VAT
2 door - £1663 + VAT

Can anyone tell me if this is a good price?

Thanks for your reply @greenface2. I’m based in Hertfordshire and the company that quoted is in Surrey. Do you have an idea of what would be a reasonable price?

We’ve recently got quotes for a bifold door and all 4 companies said not to use pvc as it warps in direct sun, aluminium is much better. We’re getting a 3 pane aluminium bifold door for under £2850 with fitting. That’s in Surrey.

Thanks @Squeaky9. We had the same advice so will now go for aluminium. Would you mind me asking who the supplier is? The quotes I’ve received so far for aluminium have been similar to your door and one that was waaaaaay over 😅

reasonable enough for a decent system fitted . I fit smarts aluminium which I like for £900 per leaf so my price is £2700 standard colours

It’s a Cortizo bifold fitted by a local company. To be honest all the quotes we got were in the same ballpark range. We are getting all the windows replaced at the same time as well so had some room to manoeuvre on price. 🙂
