I was looking around for a 4GB or 8GB Pi, and prices seem to be £150-200.
Looking on RS-Online, they are £55 for 4GB and £75 for 8GB, but with no stock until November. Are these roughly the correct prices, and the £150-200 is the premium being charged for people who want to jump the queue?

At the moment my intention is to get started with a 2GB Pi, which seems to be at more normal price levels still. If I find I need more RAM, I will just have to pay the premium for immediate delivery. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I want something that will run python and opencv, and have a range of add ons that are easy to use. The Pi is a good choice, I think??forgotmyname said:Lots of other options Launchpad? Uses a Texas Instruments chip.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
