I definitely don’t want the builders on my land the total work is shocking!! My patio has only just been laid and they are hanging over my land to brick up no scaffolding or ladders. Not a reputable company just someone my neighbour knows. He is unapproachable and does not respond to our messages0

You could always try cleaning it off with a hose on high pressure, and not notice the brickies working above.2

Sounds like a disproportionate amount of administrative or legal work ahead for something so relatively trivial. Whilst they've been negligent and you shouldn't bear costs for their carelessness, you should weigh up whether this is a battle worth fighting. Once you have a quote, consider your next step. You could spend weeks chasing money you'll never see.0

Unfortunately the problem appears to be yours to resolve. Is it mortar rather than cement thats being dropped while bricklaying? If the work is ongoing have you done anything to cover your patio?
