    Definitely worth buying!

If it's a corner shop or something similar and in London you won't have any problems with lenders and it's a great opportunity to get a property at a slight discount

I used Santander for years and used to live above a corner shop, no issues at all getting the best rates

In fact living above a shop has its benefits as you don't have noisy neighbours once they close in the evening, and it provides extra security during the day as someone is always around.

It's only noise bars or restaurants you want to avoid.
Seeing this old thread resurrected, brought back the most horrible memories of diystarter!!!!!  I am kind of expecting them to resurrect under a different user name.
Given that they have reincarnated more times than Doctor Who, that seems to be a reasonable assumption.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Has each reincarnation often misspelt "Thanks" as "Thnaks"?  Or is it the nauseating self-importance and willingness to express firm opinions on things they are utterly ignorant about which you look out for?
  • Funny I'd almost forgotten his name. In my head he was always drinkthand (thnaks).

I've not spotted him though, we must like different boards/threads.
    I don't wanna shut up, I want a 7up and a 10p mix-up.
  • It wasn’t only me who read this from the beginning without realising it was old, got to “that poster” and thought “oh NO!” was it then! I rather hope that this time round it was a rather more comprehensive ban, but time will tell! (And the clock starts now on how far into Monday morning we will be before all these posts will disappear! )
