  • I had to have B12 injections. I felt better really quickly after them.  I hope it helps you.

  • Thanks MORALPANIC its always good to hear that others have noticed a significant difference in energy level, I'm really looking forward to been jabbed. My mum has the injection too but she says she doesn't notice a difference now however she has been having it for years and probably can't remember  what it was like to start them. Had to have another nap today but i decided to put a timer on it to limit how much I'm sleeping. We'd been into town as DD2 as she wanted to get some new jeans and a belt. BY the time we got back I was shattered, hence the sleep. I was able to walk the dog further today and have no knee pain (wearing a knee support though) and the trip to the allotment to just pick up the potatoes the FIL had dug up, some tomatoes, and grapes was equally successful from a knee point of view. Tea was supplied mainly from the allotment, 8 different types of salad/veg/fruit WHOOP WHOOP. Leftiovers will be used tomorrow as tea for me as the hubbster is out for the day. I did some baking as well, the request for jam thumb prints was made and DD1 is looking forward to the hubbster taking her share up tomorrow as they are meeting up to visit brinham rocks.

One of my friends has the injections.
    They seem to really help.
She can tell when they are wearing off.

  • Thanks beanielou.
1 injection down 5 to go over the next 2 weeks and then just 1 every 3 months.
Cancelled meeting up with my friend tonight as I’ve felt really poorly this week and rearranged for next. Mum is collecting miss giddychops tomorrow and having her for the next week. Hopefully by then I’ll have abit more🥳.
Not much achieved these last couple of days other than a quick trip to allotment for veggies and fruit for snacks and tea.
I have bought some second hand clothes (£1 each) as I want to practice making alterations.  They will give me something to do that doesn’t require a lot of energy.
    Right of for a 😴 .

I read it that your FIL dug up tomatoes.  Dear me, I’m not very green fingered but I knew that was wrong 😂

    Good luck with your hobby.

Hope the injections do the trick. I'm wondering if they would help me.

  • Worth talking to your gp SAVINGHOLMES about. NO noteable difference yet, although I wasn't expecting anything yet. I've not had a nap today due to sister calling in to discuss her current issues with life.
Sat and managed to take a dress apart and then re-sewn the top part up. The skirt part is surplus to requirement as it bright white, although it does have deep pockets. The sensible part of me won the arguement of its white and your hips don't need that sort of highlighting. I have sewn on a small embroided bee onto the back pocket of a new pair of trouseurs, so it on my beeee hind. Sorry bad joke but it kept me amused whilst sewing it on. I need to get out more. I have started to alter another dress into a long shirt but ran out steam, hopefully I'll get that finished tomorrow. Tried on the other clothes that I got yesterday, most things fit but there are 3 things that need to be returned. The 'would of been expensive if bought new' dress fits and has pockets, so I can now send my old  posh dress to the charity shop as it no longer fits and I have a replacemnet now.
The hubbster and I went to the allotment, I just picked today as that was all I had energy for. So came away with a large bunch of spring onions, lots of tomatoes, 6 cucumbers, several large bunches of grapes, french beans , 2 kilos of blackberries and the hubbster dug up some more potatoes. He's prepared another area that we can use for quick growing crops. Hopefully next week I'll be able to sow these, if not I'll ask my FIL to do it.
Spoke to DD1 this evening and she has managed to secure a part time job that she will be able to continue throughout her university year. She has sent us some videos of her getting a great tit to eat out of her hand, she is super happy. It reminded me of a holiday when she managed to get house sparrows to eat out of her hand. She made us stay at this cafe garden for hours whilst she fed them, imagine Home Alone 2 the bird lady and you'd get the picture. She is hoping to come home Saturday and have DD2 for me for a couple days so that I can take it easy as the hubbster is busy Saturday and is working Sunday. Really looking forward to seeing her.
The hubbster and I have talked about whether we can afford to up our OP. We still have another 2 years on our fixed mortgage, but I can forsee that interest rates continuing to rise over the next couple of years and upping OP now could put us in a better postion.

Well done on the upcycling. I've been watching a programme on vintage clothes on Pr1m3.

Makes sense re mortgage OPs while you can - or saving the money in a higher interest rate account if you can get it.

Well done on the food from the allotment. It all helps.

  • Thanks SAVINGHOLMES for the heads up on the programme, will have to check that out. Dress remade into a shirt and tomorrow another dress will be made into another top but for DD2 this time. Fairly pleased with the results so far. Still got a pair of jeans to alter and then I'll be done. Currently looking for a pattern for a crocheted dress as mum has offered to make me one providing I can find a pattern.
Another day, another injection, 2 down just 4 to go. Just plodded along today. I had planned on staying at home today as DD2 was supposed to be going out with her support worker, but at the 11th hours she changed her mind and they stayed in. This meant that I felt I needed to go out just to get some headspace. To kill time I did a quick trip to the local book swap (old red telephone box), post office for stamps then the supmkt and then went to book a hairdressing appointment. After been jabbed I went to the allotment and picked tea (lettuce, radish, beetroot, carrots). Sat on the bench and nearly nodded off but it was just too hot.
Not got round to figuring out how much could be put towards OP, so will put that on tomorrows list.
