Decking

Not sure if this should be on the gardening forum, but here goes.
Has anyone ever used the decking kits that are available to buy?
They contain everything needed, supports, fixings and boards, I have a 2x3 meter area in my garden that I am thinking of covering with decking.
If anyone has used them, how did you find the putting together and quality and value?

I've never used the kits but imagine that they will be thinner boards etc to keep the price down. It's quite easy to calculate what you need and you'll probably get better quality from a local sawmill. It may not be cheaper than the kits though.

I've used Estate sawmills in Bradford before for decking etc and the quality is always good. They have a calculator on their website too - https://www.estatesawmills.com/decking-calculator/
