parcel not received

I sent a parcel back to A X Paris who are saying they haven't received it. I have the posting certificate through royal mail (which they suggested I use for the returns process) They are saying the certificate only suggests I returned 2 dresses going by the weight of 444g when it was 6. I never thought to look at the weight on the parcel - I just gave it to the post office and they printed the receipt. I have no idea how to claim back money. I paid on visa debit, and it was for a total of £252. I have since returned some other dresses through another company and the posts office puts the same weight of 444g and this parcel was heavier ?

did you pay for the return or did they?

If you paid, what method did you use?

International tracked  would give you compensation up.to whatever limit (£250 is an addon) - have a look.

Ordinary post would have a different limit, if any
  • They provided me with a label to print and put on parcel. They then take the cost of posting off the credit they give back. It was a tracked 48 label. Which tracking number suggests that they have received it because there is a signature.

They provided the label hence the return is complete once you hand the parcel over to their specified courier / RM

If they are saying you only returned 2 of 6 then your only recourse is small claims court assuming they are UK based - or are they in Paris?
  • ok thank you.
