Chorley members regular saver

Account matured 30/6 and still waiting for funds to arrive. Talk about snail mail  :( Makes you realize how quick some other establishments are. Chorley  really need to enter the 21st century.

Me too. I expected the maturity proceeds in my bank account by close  of business today, Monday, but they haven't arrived yet.  Sent by BACS transfer on Friday 1st.All this for approx £16 interest after a year's saving. Not worth the angst.

Agree entirely Hattie625. My pass book arrived back on Saturday. Spoke on the phone and said just so many to perform maturity on. Obviously not using modern systems.

Be thankful that you get your funds!

When mine matured last year I waited a few days but didn't receive anything so I contacted them. Their reply was funds had been sent 3 days earlier.........................to an unknown account !!!
They then had the audacity to suggest I should wait until the funds bounce back from the wrong account and then would resend them to the correct a/c.
Cue an immediate complaint which was initially dealt with by an attitude of 'it's no big deal' until I upped the anti and demanded an immediate seriously taken response.
    Ultimately, it cost them!
  • Maturity funds arrived in bank account last night before midnight.
