Certainly no posting anything!
The Template Defence thread 1st post coaches you thorough ALL the first 12 steps including this and the first letters to expect (please don't post about the DQ form nor the first tedious solicitor's template letter/reply in January).
We are trying to avoid getting bogged down in the basics, which frees us up for everyone's WS & evidence stage, which is the only time you'll need us again.
If you can't see what you need, search the forum for an obvious keyword or three from the ext letter you get in 2023. There is nothing new here. Everything has been asked & answered a hundred times a year at least!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

happy new year, hope you all had a fab christmas.
just a quick ask for help, i have received the N180 from the court and i sent it back by email to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk straight away.
I have been monitoring the MCOL website to see if the claim has been updated with the N180 form but it hasnt. Now, as the deadline is today im getting a bit concerned, especially as i received a demand from the parking company saying that i had failed to file a defence (which i did inc sending them a copy by email). I'm sure this is just another part of the scam as the MCOL website doesnt mention anything
could i just ask for confirmation of the correct email address please. I'm currently on the phone to the MCOL (waiting in a never ending queue!) trying to get an answer....0 -
Panic over!
After waiting on the phone to the CCBC for nearly an hour i spoke to a helpful person who informed that they have a backlog and they are still processing correspondence from 3 weeks ago and they will update my claim on the MCOL website when they eventually get to my email. He said that they take the email date as the sent date. I also asked about the letter from the parking company that i received a couple of weeks ago saying that i had failed to submit a defense and there was a CCJ filed against me. They told me to ignore the letter from the parking company. Incidentally, the letter from the parking company was asking for an amount greater than was being claimed!1
