Not sure if this is the right place.
I'm separated from the other parent and looking to apply for schools from Sept to start next Sept for our child.
Does the school application require a signature from the child's other parent?

In my area applications are online, so no signature is needed.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Not for application but when you get a place your ex will need to sign things. As a result you want to get them onside with whatever school you want your child to attend.1

in my area school applications to state schools don’t require anyones signature. Only one parent applies though and then when a place is allocated and accepted that parent gets a form form the school to complete with lots of extra info including other parents, emergency contacts etc. I don’t recall my husband actually having to sign anything though.1
