Selling excess stock wholesale

I have imported stock in the beauty market from the US, before the downturn in the economy and unfortunately have so far only sold half of it. I need to sell the excess stock in bulk, for cash flow purposes. Where is the best place to do this?

Is it 'big name' stuff or unknown to the British market? Do you think it will sell at somewhere like a car boot sale? Or you could try selling it online, eBay or amazon as a job lot. You may lose on such a sale but it's better to try to get rid of it than just have to dispose of it when the use by dates run out. Nobody wants out of date beauty products.

It is a fairly well known big brand, car boot hasn't been as successful for me in the past, but it wasn't for beauty products which could fair better but I think Ebay or Amazon may be a better bet, as a last resort. The expiry dates thankfully are good for at least a year or two

You need to be careful with VERO products if you use eBay.  If you list items covered by this your eBay account could be put at risk.
I've been googling to find a list of VERO brands without luck.  I'm sure others will be able to point you in the right direction.
Edit:This is from ebay.com and I'm not sure if .co.uk has the same list
