Hi first time on here..we are £24,883 in debt cc and loan.have appt with cab in few weeks ..do i try and keep paying cc as 2 on intetest free till 2024..loan finish in 2024..2 cards paying interest only..or do i go for d.m.p..save 80 a month really scared abt no savings but need to get out of this mess.guilty of nothing to show for debt and am nearly 63 and havent learnt to budget properly mental health not good either.advice please and this forum already makes me feel am not alone...tnxs

Good Luck Alfie. I think the first thing would be to post a statement of affairs if you can? Knowing your incomings and outgoings will help people offer advice. There are pro’s and cons for dmp’s. Do you own your own property and have plans for retirement? Is the aim to pay everything off so you can retire stress free, or do you have another goal? CAB should give you good advice.
