    Bought Sis a cheap hammer drill from Screwfix a while back. I think she has drilled the grand total of three holes in five years.

    Agreed, if not 2 of them, we have 3 identical ones from Makita and have a selection of other tools using the same batteries. 
    Yes indeed. I've got a couple of Bosch blue so that I don't need to swap the bits.  They get enough use to justify it.

    Like Freebear my corded SDS drill has only been used for a few holes.  I mainly use it for paddle mixing ( although I mix lime with a spade).  I'm amazed it hasn't burned out.
