Item taken down as Counterfeit

Just listed an item on ebay and about half an hour later had it taken down as counterfeit.
The same item is currently for sale as a single item (item I listed came in a big gift box and I'm not going to use it).
Item is genuine (bought direct from the company on the branding).
Is it worth trying to get through to customer services on this?
Message says no action taken on account this time and don't want to relist as suspect this might cause an issue.
May you find your sister soon Helli.
Sleep well.

if you can prove it's genuine, I'd just re list it with your proof in the listing (i.e the receipt, some details)

Definitely not , never risk your account once eBay have called a VERO or ‘fake’ default on you.

OP you could try talking to eBay, but frankly I doubt you will be able to speak to anyone with the authority to guarantee in writing that you won’t have issues. I would look to sell elsewhere.

I had an online chat with someone from ebay who said I need to include more photographs and more narrative and I should be fine to relist.
I am sceptical and suspect even with a text of this draft as backup I will have issues.
They seemed to suggest removing the brand name as well which to me makes no sense on several levels.

I don’t trust the basic eBay reps, and ‘should be fine’ is no guarantee that they know what they are talking about and won’t prevent your account being suspended.

It's a good idea to keep transcripts of conversations for future reference.

They haven’t given a guarantee that it won’t be taken down, and usually if you question eBay they apologise that you were given wrong information, promise to re train the CS rep and suspend you anyway. If OP is going to trust eBay to confirm he is safe he wants a proper written ‘guarantee’ that your account is safe, and from someone with the authority to do so.
