Virgin Money M Plus Linked Saver

Hi Folks!
I have a query about this account. I've held the account for a while now but I've never used it. I've just cashed in some Premium Bonds and that money will be in my Barclays bank account soon. I intend to then put this money in to the Virgin saver to get that 1.55%. My query is, can I transfer the money from my Barclays directly into the Virgin linked saver account or would I need to transfer to my Virgin money bank account first to then move it on into it's linked saver? I looked at the terms but I couldn't find any specific information on this.
Thank you in advance!

It has a sort code and account number so yes you can. I've done it from Barclays, Tesco etc. You'll need to go via the current account going back out though

Directly from Barclays (or anywhere else) is fine.1

As others have said, you can transfer it in directly from your source account.
When you want to withdraw it though, it has to be funnelled through your Virgin Current Account.2 -
Yes you can as the linked saver has its own sort code and account number.1

Remember to do a test payment of £1 from your Barclays current account direct to your Virgin M Plus savings account. Confirmation of payee may not confirm. Then check your £1 has gone in before transferring all your money. 1.56% interest on up to £25K.

I sent a test payment yesterday which appeared immediately and then transferred the remaining money this morning which also showed in the account shortly after!I read that the interest is paid quarterly so can I expect the interest at the end of September? Sorry for the silly question but I've only had savings accounts that pay the interest monthly or annually in the past.Thanks!0
