'Homeserve' Plumbing and drainage insurance

I had a water leak from the bathroom to downstairs, phoned 'Homeserve ' , the person on the phone said " it will take three days ,would I like to book? That will cost an extra £30 excess " , what a con and waste of time , theres no one else in that company to speak to, its a one man band. So cancelled the non service , should be re named ' Home-notserve.' Are there any decent companies left in the UK I wonder . Meanwhile having to do it properly without ' help ' .
