Can we cancel the Barclaycard Avios Plus card after we collect the 50 000 points after 3 months?

Hello,
The Plus card costs £20 a month, so steep, though you get 1.5 points per £1 spent, and 50 000 points if you spend £3000 in the first 3 months, which is very good.
I can't tell from the small print - can we quit after we collect the points (or downgrade to the no fee card)?
Thanks!

Yep. I'd make sure the Avios were actually in my BA account before cancelling or downgrading personally.
Certainly worth considering holding on to the free card at least - effectively 0.8% back via Nectar is a very decent return for a Mastercard.0 -
They transfer the points on the 2nd working day of the month.0

I know a few people who've done this and is the recommended advice given on the Head for Points website articles.0
