Is a 'Club Lloyds' account a current account?

I have a Club Lloyds account which I'm considering closing and moving the money elsewhere as I can get a better interest rate on my money. Does it count as a 'current account' as far as trying to get a £170 bonus to transfer to and open a new account at HSBC for example? I don't want to close the attached Premier Lloyds account as the benefits work well for us.
TIA

There is a Club Lloyds current account, there is also a Club Lloyds Regular Saver.
Does your account have a debit card? Is there a £3 fee debited and credited each month? If so it's a current account.
Does it have direct debits or standing orders? These are features of a current account.
A Club Lloyds saver is not a current account.2 -

Club Lloyds is a type of pay for account (as is the discontinued Premier) that people can upgrade/downgrade to/from, without changing the account sort code or number. It has a £3 monthly fee that get waived if you pay in a minimum (I think it is £1500) and earn interest (0.6% on £1 to £3999 and 1.5% on £4000 to £5000 balances, not great as it used to be) if have two direct debits coming off each month from the account. In addition you can get an annual benefit across a small selection (I choose the 6 Odeon Cinema Tickets) .It is the “attached” to Premier Account that does not sound right0 -

Yes it's the Club Lloyds account you describe, and we have a Premier Account also. I thought they were linked in some manner but it's years ago since they were opened so perhaps they are just standalone accounts.
