The Surf Burst 1 Online Promotion on Heart, Capital and Smooth, July 2022– Specific Rules
1. The Surf Burst 1 Online Promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Thursday 30th June 2022 to Wednesday 6th July 2022 on the Heart Network, the Capital Network and the Smooth Network. Global is the Promoter. The Promotion Partner mentioned in these Specific Rules is Surf. The Prize Providers are The NDL Group.
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.
Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must:
3.1. Go online to the Promotion entry page at www.smoothradio.com/win or www.capitalfm.com/win or www.heart.co.uk/win and register your details;
3.2. Describe in 300 characters or less your dirty laundry problem or dilemma you would like Gemma Collins to solve for you. This can include (but is not limited to); confessions, short-form issues, dilemmas and problems for example dating fails, laundry disasters, wardrobe malfunctions or a mortifying moment you might you need an opinion on (your “Submission”).
4. Online entry will open at 12:00 on Thursday 30th June 2022 and close at 23:59 on Wednesday 6th July 2022. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.
5. Entries deemed by us to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal or condoning dangerous behaviour will be removed from the Promotion.
6. Within 14 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One eligible entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone or email on the details with which you registered to enter the Promotion. If such winner does not respond within 14 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to their winner notification email within 5 days of the date on which they receive it, or they will also forfeit the prize.
7. We and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
8. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.
9. Your Submission may be used in 30 and/or 60 second radio advertisements (“Radio Ads”) as part of the Promotion Partner’s marketing campaign. These Radio Ads will be created by our creative agency, Global Creative and will run across the Heart Network, Capital Network, and/ or the Smooth Network. The Radio Ads may also feature online at www.smoothradio.com/win and/or www.capitalfm.com/win and/or www.heart.co.uk/win for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable. The details in the Submissions selected to be used in the Radio Ads may be changed to feature a fictitious name and/or location, where appropriate, but anonymity can not be guaranteed.
10. For the avoidance of doubt, any Submissions used in the Radio Ads will be used freely by Global Creative and entrants will not be paid for any content contribution.

11. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.
12. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

Prize Terms and conditions:
14. The Prize Provider reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are subject to change from the manufacturer without notice.
15. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the Prize Provider and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in the UK.
16. Your prize includes off peak train travel that will need to be booked at least 6 weeks before you plan to travel. Off peak refers to travel booked outside of morning and evening commuter periods, this varies depending on the train operator but generally excludes departures between 0600-1000 and 1600-1900.
17. You will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If you’d prefer a twin room, the prize provider will do what they can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed.
18. Your ‘Day with A Perfumer’ Experience is based on 2 adults 18 years old or over. Experience runs quarterly on dates throughout the year. Experience includes perfumery tour, 3-course lunch, consultation on the perfume-making process, a glass of bubbly, design and name your own perfume each, 20ml of your unique perfume in a purse spray atomiser presented in a stylish gift box and full membership of The Perfume Studio, including registration of your perfume in their fragrance library. Subject to availability at time of booking.
19. Spending money will be transferred directly to the winner by the Prize Provider upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days.
20. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of the Prize Provider’s initial correspondence with them.
21. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
22. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
23. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

25. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) as well as the Prize Providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.

By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us with their personal data.
27. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion. 28. We and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.
29. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
30. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
