Ebay Postal Order Help?

I'm quite new-ish to ebay so please bear with me. :)

All the things I've bought previously have been paid for by paypal, which I don't have a problem with at all.

However, I won something that was postal order or cheque only. (I don't think the seller has a paypal account).

It's taken me a week to get to the post office due to the winter flu.
I posted the postal order today. The seller lives in Glamorgan. Does anyone know how long it will take to get to them? Our post office has had some problems recently with delayed/lost mail. If the postal order doesn't make it to the seller, what do I do?

I have 100% positive feedback and I really don't want a negative.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
Sorry If I seem like I'm worrying over nothing. I have a very nervous disposition.

xx

    Thank you for replying. :)

What do I do if it does take a week or two and the seller thinks I'm trying to pull a fast one?

I would never dream of doing that to anybody.

I emailed them before I created this thread, just to let them know the postal order had been posted.

I tend to worry a lot. I just don't want the seller to think I'm a NPB because I'm not.

Hi, As you have let the seller know whats happening I would assume you would be fine :) I accept paypal and postal orders on my auctions and only get annoyed or open dispute when the buyer has not contacted me as I dont know if they still want item or not, so as long as you keep them informed they should be ok.
