Easyjet Cancellation - Credit

Hi All - we had a package holiday booked with EasyJet for July 2020, we cancelled this due to COVID and having a vulnerable person in the booking at the time, EasyJet were offering this, and we received a credit. We rebooked a holiday for Aug 2022, and they have cancelled the full holiday yesterday, however are advising we will only get a credit, not a full cash refund given we 'paid' with a credit for this Aug 2022 holiday. Is this the legal minimum they can offer or can we demand a refund?
Thank you in advance

No, if only a credit was on offer for your cancellation and you accepted that, then you'll only be refunded the credit.1

If it was you that cancelled the original holiday in July 2020 ( not Easyjet ) then you are not entitled to a cash refund .

If you cancelled, the situation will be that only a credit is due.
If Easyjet cancelled, the situation may be different, however this is may, not will.💙💛 💔0
