Hello, I manage a block of eight flats. Our electricity for communal lighting, fire alarm sensors, door entry system, TV signal distribution equipment is provided by British Gas on a two-year fixed contract which is due for renewal this October (2022). Our current rates are 57p daily standing charge and 21p per unit. Average annual consumption is 1339 units. The bill for a full year is £509. Given that the contract commenced prior to price cap increases and was fixed, does anyone have any idea what increase we might expect in October for another two-year fixed contract? Thank you.

Since March I have been paying 36p/KWh - next renewal is due in October and I expect this will be 50-60 pNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I've just been quoted 34.4p/unit and 25p/day SC with EDF for our Village Hall on a 3 year fix contract. Our annual consumption is 4000kWh.
We're just coming to the end of a 3 year fix at 14p/unit, so it's going to be a hugh shock!0
